When "Crisis in our Land" was written, It was the morning of the Oklahoma Bombing. I remember being in total shock with what I was seeing before me. My son Sean was within arms reach when I saw the fireman holding little Baylee Almon. My heart sank to the ground. I grabbed Sean and held him tight as tears poured from my eyes. The song was recorded in November of that year and quickly became dated. Then came 911. A Video producer friend of ours, took Crisis in our Land and edited some timeless memories from 911 to the track and a new reality was born. Our hearts go out to anyone who has suffered great loss due to such needless tragedy. With so many tribute songs already written, we feel blessed to be able to keep "Crisis in our Land" as an archive piece.
